Seriously man, that’s totally champion.

Song: Kalluri Vaanil
Artist: Prabhu Deva

This is mesmerizing almost on the scale of those Bravia commercials. There’s something to be said about it being the representation of the concept of the multiverse and quantum theory, but I only talk about those things in person.

Mmm, pretty things make smile.

Love the layering, this man is certainly multi-talented. I’ve always had a particular love for that certain keyboard sound which I can only describe as “Kinda like you’re in an ice crystal cavern”

The answer is 42.
The answer to life, the universe, and everything has been known to be 42 for quite a while now. What was not known; the question.

I present this question; How long, if traveling in a straight line through the earth, would it take to go from anywhere to anywhere?

42 minutes.

I love finding about awesomely talented people on youtube.

ronaldjenkees youtube Profile

I’m not really going to be embedding any specific video, I’ll just link to his youtube profile and let you go from there.

Basically he’s just got really good jams on keyboard. Really awesome beats with a nice hip hop influence, kinda reminds me a little of Kenna.

And plus, he’s got such an awesome demeanor about what he does.

EDIT: Okay, so I’m gonna embed some of my favs.

Okay so I normally hate all those “Personality Tests” but this one I actually found to be pretty interesting. Interesting enough that I would disrupt a month long hiatus to post, anyway.

So I might be a little late to the game in finding out about this test. The reason why I say this is because I’ve been visiting the Age of Conan forums a lot recently and damn near everyone has their results in their signature, so I decided to take it and I think that it’s pretty accurate. The really interesting part is taking the information provided by the wikipedia article on it and trying to apply it to various games and to which archetype the game caters.

Anyway, here’s my breakdown:

SEKA

Breakdown: Achiever 13.33%, Explorer 73.33%, Killer 33.33%, Socializer 80.00%

Oh yea, Age of Conan looks totally badass, I’ll have to leave that for another post or something.

Bartle Test: What it is?
Take the test

Just a quick one today, I stumbled on to this site called 365 Tomorrows. It’s filled with some really good sci-fi flash fiction and it’s updated everyday.

Here’s a really cool one I found

The site is here

It’s a 2d Physics funbox!

I don’t really have any other thing to say about it, go to the site and check out the video and download it and play it.

So a while ago I was talking to my friends about starting a pron site. I was thinking realistically about it, and decided that, at least at the start, I would probably need to buy my content first, then maybe think about having some of my friends help out in creating exclusive content (Not my idea at first, really, it was the enthusiasm of my friends that made me consider this).

Originally I had planned on appealing to some sort of niche because there’s no way that a start-up could contend with the monsters of online porn. I had toyed with the ideas of catering to the socks and stockings demographic, but then I found out about Only Opaques. Also, I was considering doing a porn-blog and trying to make revenue off ads, but I don’t think that’ll turn out well.

Right now, I think I may have found something I would want to do: Register hilarious porn domains, but not actually do anything with it.

I mean, look at ThunderFap. Go ahead, just look at it. Wouldn’t you be proud to say that you wank off to content provided to you by the venerable folks at ThunderFap? Yes, yes you would be.

But unfortunately that is not the case as ThunderFap is currently something that is just a list of free shit.

Sigh

(I wrote this post just because I stumbled onto the ThunderFap site and wished I had owned it for my porn site.)

Fez

I can’t even begin to describe how much I want to play this game. The gameplay demonstrates a 2d platform/puzzler, where the puzzler comes from the manipulation of perspective and space. Almost everything about the game appeals to me, from the ridiculously simple but conceptually complex concept to the awesome design of everything; character design, world design, even the lighting is awesome. Also, I really hope that the music is actually from the game. I like it.

I really like the video not really because it shows CryEngine2 performance or anything, but really because I love the cover of Heartbeats by The Knife, Done by Jose Gonzalez.

I want to see it. It sounds to me though like the script was written by DC and they only hand it off to Japanese animators. They should just hand off the entire project to Insert Acclaimed Anime Director Here and see what happens.

I’ve been looking for a few minutes and I can’t find who’s performing it. If someone knows, lemme know.

Holy. Shit.

The song is awesome, and it’s obviously not easy playing piano with a gun.

I’ve always been a fan of Tool but I’ve never really heard too many of their songs. This video really makes me want to go get their albums because that shit’s so awesome.

Plus, it’s a damn good song.

I found this a while ago but I just recently got reminded of it. This is absolutely the best I’ve ever seen in anything regarding obstacle courses. Nagano Makoto is the contestant. Sasuke, or Ninja Warrior is the competition.

You know you got a lotta mouth, and I got alotta fist for yo mouth.

Lemme tell ya what mah name is. First name Mistah, middle name period, last name T!!!

A stunning 3D animation reflecting on the misplaced desires and identities fractured by our technological extension into the future.

EPURON GmbH, a subsidiary of Conergy AG, won the top honor for best film advertising spot at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes. The ad was recognized as the best tv ad from Germany at Cannes. It was created by Nordpol+ Hamburg.

“The company said late Tuesday that after months of testing various video advertising models, it was ready to introduce a new type of video ad, which it said was unobtrusive and kept users in control of what they saw.

The ads, which appear 15 seconds after a user begins watching a video clip, take the form of an overlay on the bottom fifth of the screen, not unlike the tickers that display headlines during television news programs.

A user can ignore the overlay, which will disappear after about 10 seconds, or close it. But if the user clicks on it, the video they were watching will stop and a video ad will begin playing. Once the ad is over, or if a user clicks on a box to close it, the original video will resume playing from the point where it was stopped.”

The ads should be up on YouTube as I type this and, as the article states, only show on YouTube’s content partners. It’s definitely a better idea than the random, or sometimes forced, 15 second ad clips that show on other video sites but I don’t imagine too many people wanting to click on them for the simple fact that we as people hate interruptions. This is the reason why the classic video ad, a TV commercial, is so widely hated.

Even so, I suppose being given a choice to interrupt your video is better than not.

Okay, so I realize that Discovery Channel’s Man vs Wild is supposed to be more of a “Let me show you hypothetical situations in wilderness and how to survive them” and it’s not really trying to compete with Survivorman. Even so, finding out that his “Dangerous” situations are just a few hundred yards away from what seems like a well traveled highway just kinda puts a damper on his badassness.

It’s for this reason that I like Survivorman’s Les Stroud much more than Bear Grylls. He doesn’t have a camera crew or anything, he just gets dropped off somewhere for 7 days and he has to survive on his own. He doesn’t set up situations for him to look badass while doing it. He’s just badass by nature and there just happens to be a camera at hand.

Along with some knob who pronounces Indigo InDEEgo.

Okay, so just ignore the guy playing, he seems pretty new at this whole MMO thing and the concept of “If I’m hit while casting I suck at casting” and just note for a moment how much Magus will fucking rock.

The violin is fucking beautiful. Just plain good grooves all around.

Joe showed this to me. Just, yea.

Yea, that’s all you gotta say. I’m sold.

This guy is the man.
Sam Friday is his name and his Bear’s name is Abby.

Man with a Pet Bear

Especially if it’s all one guy.

There’re a bunch more of people multi-tracking themselves but this is one of my favorites. Short n sweet. From user FineyLeee

Y’know what, when I first saw the Chocolate Rain video I kinda just brushed it off and thought of it as a novelty. I mean, I respect Tay Zonday for having the balls to post his singing online and I did kinda like the melody of the keyboard but I stopped watching after, like, 30 seconds because it was just too repetitive. Also, the only instrument was his keyboard, but being that its been so popular on YouTube of course there were many remixes.

I found one of these remixes in the related section of a video of his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel and I have to say, I actually really like it :P

Actually, it really reminds me of the Cammy theme from Super Street Fighter 2 on the SNES. I just have a soft spot for bass-centric, slow, grooves like this. Begin Rant It makes sense that I love the whole idea of this, people doing their own remixes and re-interpretations of an original piece. It’s one of the reasons why I like trance and electronic music in general and I have to admit that 10% of my playlist back in High School consisted of OCRemix stuff(Mostly Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid remixes)

Oh and if you didn’t know anything about Chocolate Rain and Tay Zonday here’s Slowpoke:

Hey guys! Slowpoke here!

Today I bring you some fresh sounds courtesy of new internet-unknown Tay Zonday! Groove to his just-released single, Chocolate Rain!

For those that haven’t heard yet:

Hey guys! Slowpoke here bringing you some breaking news! So apparently the FTC has abandoned Net Neutrality 1. Net Neutrality is a fresh concept that states that Companies such as ISP cannot control the flow of information. This means that if Net Neutrality weren’t in place, corporations such as Comcast would be able to charge websites and other services a premium for faster access to their sites. They would also be able to make access to their competitors’ sites and services unbearably slow.

Thanks Slowpoke.

The thing that really troubles me is that the abandonment of Net Neutrality allows companies free roam and total control of the data their users are streaming. The consequences of them being able to control the speed of data transfer for certain sites are huge! Imagine for a minute that the only services transferring at your internet connection’s fastest speed are the handful that have paid your provider that premium. That means that any other site will go at perhaps half the speed of which your internet is capable. That doesn’t just limit itself to websites either, it can include games as well as voip.

Another thing that this opens up is Deep Packet Inspection 2. What this means is that not only will your provider be able to control how fast you’re able to receive your content, it can also inspect the content you receive. This means that all IMs, emails, and sensitive information transferred to websites are available for access to the provider and anyone whom the provider deems deserving of your information.

I don’t know about you, but I sure as hell don’t want to have my ISP be a gatekeeper. Just gimme my content like I paid you for.

Seriously though, go to around 1:15 and listen for the guy.

Jake Brown during the X Games. Yes, those are his shoes.

I’m not sure if this is hard or expert.

The best reason to play pally

Found this a while ago, thought it was pretty funny. It’s not too far off from the truth, really, especially now that buffs are going to last, what, 10 minutes for the weak versions? Unless I’m PvPing, it really is just Seal -> Judge -> Seal -> Bonk -> Judge
