Chris, this one’s for you.
I’ve been in love with Amadou & Mariam ever since I found out about them back in ’05 or ’06 when I first heard their album Dimanche a Bamako. The song above is from their latest album Welcome to Mali. I freaking love the song so I was really excited when I found out there was a video. If you like their stuff, my favorite songs are M’Bife Balafon and Senegal Fast Food from Dimanche a Bamako and Ce N’est Pas Bon from Welcome to Mali. Check’em out.
The kinetic type and vector look felt right up Chris’ alley. You should watch it even if you’re not Chris.
